My old house was a converted two family and the previous owner had converted it to a single family home. It originally had two stairwells going upstairs. When he did the renovations, the back stairs were left in place as they also went to the basement, but the upstairs path was blocked off. As this was directly off of the kitchen, I decided to re-purpose this area as pantry storage.
Unfortunately it was a tight space, so I never got great finished pics.
This was built with rift sawn white oak from Lumber Logs. The cabinet boxes were made from 3/4″ pre-finished birch ply from Menards. The cabinets were finished with General Finishes High Performance.
