The design for this is from Mike Pekovich at Fine Woodworking. This is my first project after moving and getting the new shop setup, more on that in another post.

This is built primarily out of cherry but with walnut crotch grain veneered panels. Some might say it’s too nice for shop furniture, but I think it’s good to have nice things in a place where you spend a lot of time.
It also features hand cut dovetails and through mortise and tenons for the joinery.
Making lots of chips. First bag out of new Oneida 3hp Dust Gorilla Not perfect, but pretty decent. Walnut crotch veneer picked out Attaching door shelves with dowels First time veneering with a vacuum press Gallery Drawer fronts made out of birds eye maple (still haven’t assembled 2nd drawer as of Oct 2019) Less used chisels inside of door Primary chisels and measuring/marking tools on outside.
